i love the angles and the composition and the use of b+w. very nice shot.
oh! a little suggestion: maybe take photos of other types of dance, like contemporary or hip hop or something like that. just a suggestion! :)

thanks!

most of the dancers i know and have access to do ballet. i don't know too many people who do hip hop or contemporary, but i have made a few unsuccessful attempt. i find it easier to work with ballet since it can be more static.

Beautiful shot sir. I love how you caught them at the different hights. It makes the picture more alive.

Did you notice that it looks as though the dancer on the floor is pushing the other along through the air?

two strobes. one to the left of the dancers and one to the right. the main light is on the left and is shot through a beauty dish. the one of the right is through a honeycomb... thing. dunno what it's called.
