Underwater Balloon Delivery by HowNowVihao Underwater Balloon Delivery by HowNowVihao
I was inspired by Sugarock99's [link] underwater pictures so I bought myself an ewa-marine bag for my D300 and gave it a try.

Hahaha, this is great. I like the incorporation of the balloons and picture frame above her. Also, her polka-dotted dress [swimsuit?] adds to the whimsical feel of the photo.
Great picture!

Thats so cool. So do you have to hold your breath and be underwater too? I want to try this, but I'm just so confused on how that is even possible. The photos turn out amazing, though.

Beautiful. You captured the essence of her work. :)

There was someone there standing over the pool, right?

it looks like it, but i honestly can't remember. her bathing suit under the dress was purple, so it might have been that.

Well, it added to the theme, because it left open for many interpretations, like the purple clad person could be the one the girl is going to hand over the balloons beyond the frame. If the frame represents a mirror, it could be another facet of the girl then. Many interpretations.

By the way, she's beautiful. Is she your daughter/sister/something?

She dances at one of the ballet studios I shoot with. I've gotten to know her and her mother over the years.

Really nice. I used to do ballet classes. I wish I could photograph dancers, but I'm just an amateur with a point-and-shoot. Maybe when I'm able to get some decent equipment.
